“The Tale of Two Towns”,  a watercolor exhibit by Escalante artist Harriet Priska, is on display through October 27th at Anasazi State Park Museum.  Harriet, owner of Serenidad Gallery, has studied the local history and represented the early pioneer days showing the relationship between Boulder and Escalante as they were settled in the last part of the 19th century.  Using historic photos and viewing existing structures she graphically portrays some of the then most remote parts of the United States .  Stop by to view the 40 paintings of buildings both historic and modern.  Her cards of the paintings and two 2019 calendars are available: “Escalante and Boulder” and “Boulder.”
