Sara Straw will paint a demonstration and talk about the mistakes made from the beginning to the end. 

Sara Straw has lived in south central Utah  since 1975.  She began painting plein air at the first Escalante Canyons Art Festival/Everett Ruess Day plein air event in 2004.  She loves the scenery and the people of Escalante.  Sara got a degree in Fine Art from a California University in 1974.  She’s made her living making signs, lettering trucks, and pinstriping.  Plein air painting is more difficult, but also, more fun.
