Loretta Domaszewski Workshop: Intuitive Painting Process
September 17 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm$125
Friday, September 17; 10 AM to 4 PM / COST: $125 / Minimum of 5 – Maximum of 15 / All ability levels
All materials included (18”x24” canvas, acrylic paints, brushes, and non-traditional painting materials)
Come with an open mind and heart! If you can hold a brush and pick a color of paint, put it on a prepared surface…you got it!
Warm up and paint like you never have before with tools you have never used before. Paint intuitively, capturing feeling, space, and emotion in your work. Immerse yourself in the creative process and find that flow where you lose track of time and space.
This Intuitive Painting Workshop encourages each individual to explore their personal journey and creative process, while experimenting with paint, color, texture, mark making, movement, using traditional and non-traditional painting tools. Participants are inspired to discover their own visual voice without a structured step by step technique. Make images, make no images, explore with the paint in many unexpected ways. Experimentation can help develop the confidence to feel the freedom from within, and then paint outside and express the freedom that nature offers.
The intuitive experience can be a tool to find inner expression and allow oneself to let go, become free from preconceived ideas or expectations, a time to slow down and explore the creative side of ourselves with a non-judgmental approach.
Plein air painters may take what they have learned through this process by applying new ways of enhancing their painting experience. The goal is to paint with a new sense of freedom.
Loretta Domaszewski paints to create visual poetry with a deep connection to the earth as a living body. Spirit of Place is the inspiration for exploring the concept of the journey, the pathway, the personal quest. She speaks a universal language.
