Phoenix Bunke: Remade & Recycled Art: Cut Paper Collage
NOTE: $15 for adults and $10 for kids (15 and under) – fee collected day of program – covers materials. Limited to 20 participants. RSVP here.
Collage is an art form that’s easy to get into no matter what your skill level, and it’s a way of reusing things that might otherwise end up in the trash. Join Phoenix to try your hand at cut paper collage—no experience required! Create new meanings from old images, and get inspired by the shapes and colors of the natural landscape, what you find in your materials, and the creativity of those around you. Participants will collage the cover of a blank notebook. Plenty of collage materials (including scissors and notebooks) will be provided. Please feel free to bring scissors & images as well. Adults & children welcome—anyone who is able to use scissors without supervision.
**If participants have old magazines or image-heavy books they would otherwise throw away, they can bring them and leave at the workshop.
