In Ward Jene Stroud: Ready-Paint-Go! you’ll learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting with exciting exercises and full step-by-step projects utilizing the latest techniques and hacks, plus ways to shake up and incorporate new ideas and life into your current masterpieces. It doesn’t matter what your skill level is, if you paint tight or loose, photo realistic or abstract, there is something for everyone and every style. Ward’s open and sharing personality is infectious and you’ll benefit not only from group talks and projects, but also demos, activities, and tons of one-on-one time with this energetic teacher. Ward believes that it’s important not only to share amazing skills and ideas with you, but it’s even more important to inspire! His mission is to make sure you learn and have fun in a safe creative environment. This watercolor and brusho painting workshop will exceed your expectations. All you need to do is sign up, show up, and ready, paint, go!
Ward believes “Who we are, and everything that we do and create in every moment of our lives is a culmination of what we have learned, done, and experienced on our life’s journey.” He has assembled in his nearly 62 years, some of life’s greatest lessons working as a professional figure skater, graphic artist, fine artist, singer/songwriter/musician, published photographer, dancer, instructor, and entrepreneur. He is a juried member of both the WSO (Watercolor Society of Oregon) and the Oregon society of Artists (OSA) has had numerous one-man exhibits, and his work has been featured in some of the finest Art/Painting magazines in the world including “Watercolor Artist”, “Les Pratique Des Arts”, and the “New Palette” magazine! Ward has three feature Instructional DVDs/Videos, titled “Brusho and Beyond”, as well as numerous highly-viewed YouTube videos!
Ward is the winner of the Escalante Canyons Arts Festival People’s Choice Award 2019!
