Jill Simkins: Colorful Watercolor Portraits

Rae Ellen Lee: Mixed Media Paintings That Tell Stories

In this demo, Rae Ellen will show how she incorporates mixed media elements in her plein air paintings. She’ll combine collage elements, local stories, acrylic paint, even bits of tin foil to create a colorful and contemporary piece of art. She’ll also discuss the interplay between forms, and the negative spaces they create, so elements appear to be having a conversation.
