Celebrate Scenic Byway 12 Paint Out

September 25 @ 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

$875 in prizes Stamp-in: 7 AM to NOON / Submission: 2 PM to 5 PM "Celebrate Scenic Byway 12" is the theme for the 2018 Paint-Out. Artists will paint along Scenic Byway 12.  Proceeds will be donated to the Scenic Byway 12 Foundation to support their programming and initiatives.

Jill Simkins: Colorful Watercolor Portraits

Rae Ellen Lee: Mixed Media Paintings That Tell Stories

In this demo, Rae Ellen will show how she incorporates mixed media elements in her plein air paintings. She’ll combine collage elements, local stories, acrylic paint, even bits of tin foil to create a colorful and contemporary piece of art. Plein Air Exhibit and Art Sale

The Arts & Crafts Fair is great for finding regionally made items that have a story to tell about the area and those who live and work here. Artists Overflow Sales Tent

Artists display and sell plein air paintings created during the week but not entered in the competition in the Artists Overflow Sales Tent, located just outside the Exhibit Hall. Artwork need not be framed but must have current year's festival stamp on the back and have been completed during current year's festival.  To sell artwork in the Artists Overflow Sales Tent, artists are encouraged to volunteer to assist with staffing the booth on Friday or Saturday.  The volunteer sign-up to schedule time slots will be…
