Jessica Frogley and Carl Dede
September 30 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Carl Dede and Jessica Frogley have been playing music together for two years. Drawing from the songs of Gershwin, Fats Waller, Berlin, and all the old jazz greats, their musical sound calls on the torch tunes of Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and the more contemporary sounds of Diana Krall.
Jessica is a massage therapist, writer and musician living in Boulder, UT. She retired from teaching college Writing, English and the Humanities to live full-time in the beautiful wilds of the Colorado Plateau with her dog, Verbena, in 2013.
Carl started music lessons on organ at age 8, switched to bassoon at age 14, but fell in love with playing guitar by ear at age 17. Drawn to swing and jazz, his favorite pastime is playing chord melody versions of old standards from the Great American Songbook. Carl has been hanging around Boulder, Utah for 22 years now.
